The roundbox is a unique portable computer designed specifically for children. The design encourages creativity, inspires learning, and provides entertainment, all in a small, easy to carry product.
It combines several common items such as a digital camera, video game console, TV, DVD player, computer, as well as a pen enabled drawing screen, into a kid friendly rugged package. A long car ride, a trip to grandmas, or a rainy afternoon with the roundbox can turn into an interactive learning and playing adventure.
This computer is designed for children ranging in age from 5-14. There are 5 mode buttons below the screen that give quick and easy access to the different ways the computer may be used. They include: computer mode (normal computer activities), game mode (playing video games and educational games, movie mode (watching movies), art mode (drawing and painting), and Camera Mode (taking and editing photos). The interface is design to be intuitive for each task which is made possible with the combination of a stylus, a touch sensitive screen, and a versatile touch pad which additionally functions as a mouse and a game pad.
